Measuring DC jack...

Is this a 3mm DC jack or 3.5mm or 2.5mm ?

Also would it be enough to power a hard drive (2.5") .. ? The adaptor says 6v max 300ma.

Normally it should be powered over USB, but the cable I have is an peSata cable. But my PC only has eSata so I must separate the power and supply my own.

Hmm.. So these jacks are specified by their hole size?

The hole excluding the black circumference is 2mm but if I measure with the black its 3mm. So its 3mm then ?
