measuring video card memory usage

ok what can i use to measure the amount of video memory being used at various resolutions/settings ....i cant use rivatuner as it says "- Videomemory usage monitoring is not available under Vista due to Vista videomemory virtualization."


any other programs that will do the job under vista 64.
 
hmmmm...ok i got everest sorted out to log the memory stats of my 8800gts 320mb during a cod4 session at starting at 1280x1024 with no AA ...rising in stages to 1600x1200 with 4x AA, and it shows no difference.

only 5 mb used local video memory/283mb unused local video memory throughout.
 
upon further reading.... it seems to be all to do with vista video memory virtualization.

any way round this, is it something that can be turned off...just for benching purposes..?
