Measuring volts with a voltmeter?

I have just received some RAM to replace what I thought was a dodgy set and on putting it in, the pc still doesn't work - memtest giving 1000s of errors. Thinking about it, I know (according to BIOS) that the mobo is undervolting the CPU but according to CPU-Z, it is overvolting it .

So, I know that you can tell the voltage being given with a voltmeter (which I have) but how do you do it? Piccys of my mobo can be found here. Any help is really appreciated.

I know the power supply is fine. What I want to do is test the voltage being supplied by the mobo to the CPU, not the PSU to the mobo. It's the settings in the BIOS that are wierd ... I set a voltage of 1.475V and according to the BIOS Healthcentre, I'm getting 1.39V to the core. CPU-Z displays this as 1.59V - which is clearly wrong, as my mobo won't deliver anything higher than 1.55V.

I'm thinking that maybe the mobo is kapput - which would explain the 1000s of errors in memtest with brand new quality RAM (that or the CPU anyway :().

Is there no way of actually doing this?
