Mechanical Keyboard Choice.

I have one, the only annoying key to press is the full stop key when playing TF2.

It's the key for change class. During typing you never miss a key, but playing TF2, I used to quickly look down to press the key.

Tempted to swap that out for a white key or something.

Is it that loud in the flesh?

Surely once you've configured it to your needs it's not that bad? The marketing images seem to have the whole thing lit up in a wide range of colours that puts people off.

Has anyone taken the plunge and posted any pictures?

I'm thinking of going for the k95 rgb brown. I bought a cherry sampler pack (the 8 key one) and It was close between the red and brown, but i have a feeling ill have accidental key presses on the red.

Now if only there was any stock of this keyboard anywhere...

I take it that the replacement keycaps don't let the LED backlight through (apart from around the edges) ?

Thanks for the recommendation, btw. I am tempted !

They shine through well enough for me but with the number and symbol keys it only lights up the top legend. Got used to it really quick though and will come in helpful when i eventually move to blank key caps
