Mechanical Keyboard for MMO's and RPG's

Gonna replace my G15 soon, and was originally gonna go with the G19, but after hearing all the praise mechanical keyboards get I thought maybe 1 of them would be better, but most I've seen seem to be suited more to FPS

So my question is, is mechanical good for MMO's and RPG's, if so please recommend 1

A lot of hype for those mechanical keyboards. I very much doubt all of this makes any difference, it's all just preference. I personally can't stand any of them and have a solar-powered Logitech chiclet keyboard that feels like a laptop keyboard.

For MMOOOMMRPGMMORORRPPGGMMOOOMMRPGMMORORRPPGGMMOOOMMR type games, you probably want something with lots of macro keys like the razer black widow.
 
I'm still using my G15/Nga combination, the side buttons have taken a fair amount of time to get used to lol.

I rarely use macros on my Kb tho I'm on of those "clickers" :p

I don't use the macro keys on my G15, so there not really needed, by the looks of it the Razer Black Widow is looking to be a good choice

Got same setup as that myself at moment :)
 
I used a G15 in wow for many years and used a macro key...once.

Lots of typing in MMOs and lot's of repetitive keystrokes so go for a board with Cherry MX Brown switches.

Excellent for typing but also reasonable for high keystroke repeats. Blues will do your nut in as will blacks when typing.
