I'm looking to get a new keyboard to replace my dying Razor Lycosa Mirror, which i love but my daughter kicked a cup of coffee into it and its slowly dying key by key.
We use it for a 50/50 mix of browsing/work and gaming.
I've never had a mechanical keyboard and think its finally time for me to take the plunge.
Just by having a quick look around myself the Razor Blackwidow Chroma and Corsair K70 RGB stand out, i really like the idea of the RGB backlit keyboards.
The Corsair looks wise is gorgeous, but i'm put off by how inaccessible the software sounds in every review I've read and after using the horrible Corsair Link software for my h100i GTX im even more put off
I also worry i would choose the wrong sort of Cherry MX keys for me, i think i would probably go for browns as a happy medium?
The Razor i dont think is quite as nice looks wise, but the backlighting looks brighter and clearer.
I love the Razor Synapse software and already using it for my Deathadder 2013.
It sounds like the Razor Green keys are above average but not quite as nice to use as Cherry MX, the one thing i like about it is the choice of picking the right key is removed from me so i wouldnt always be thinking i could have picked a slightly better switch for me.
At the minute im leaning slightly more towards the Razor model but my minds not made up yet.
