Mechanical Keyboard Suggestions

I've been using a Filco Majestouch Ninja Tenkeyless with Cherry MX Brown. It's excellent, I'd recommend going somewhere to try them first, if you can.

Might be worth holding out for a bit if you can, Corsair announced the K70 with Blue and Brown switches (Both great for typing) at Computex last week - so we should see them available pretty soon.

If you do gaming too, I would say MX Brown may be more usable, but it really depends on your preference. Assume you know what Cherry MX switches have which characteristics? f not, look here.

My logic was:

Lots of typing = Blue
Lots of Gaming = Black/Red
Bit of both = Brown

I don't just type on blue switches, I do a lot of gaming too. Razer Blackwidow keyboards have blue switches and they are meant for gaming. The only real way of making sure of getting the right type for you is to go somewhere and try them.

I have tried reds and browns and personally prefer the reds as an all around switch. Haven't tried blacks or blues so can't comment on what they might be like.

I wouldn't use blacks for typing tbh. I have the Ozone Strike with blacks and for gaming it is amazing...you just twack the key all the way down ;)

However for typing they are a bit meh
