Mechanical Keyboard?

Hi there,

May I ask what your main usage of the keyboard is?

I ask because with the range of Cherry MX switches used in most boards there is a spectrum between more tactile/clicky (good for typing) and linear response (good for gaming). Personally I do a lot of typing (and a bit of gaming) so I went with the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate which uses tactile/clicky MX Blue Switches. However, if I was mainly playing games I would probably chose a board that uses MX Black switches.

If you do a lot of typing I would certainly recommend the blackwidow ultimate - the keys are great, the backlighting is very nice and the board itself is extremely solid.

I previously had the Razer blackwidow ultimate, but I sadly had to sell it due to being a student (in uni) and what not, so I had cash flow problems.

It's going to be used mainly for gaming + typing ofc! lol

I was going to buy the Blackwidow the silent edition off razers website, but they don't have the one I want in stock at the moment, so it sucks. :(
