My precious G15 is not working anymore so i'm looking to buy a mechanical keyboard this time round, but I want one with dedicated media keys like volume control, pause, stop etc. Not combined on the F keys.

Not bothered about backlights or macro keys and my budget is £50-£100.
I will be playing StarCraft 2 the most and the occasional fps game, so if any avid sc2 gamers out there or anyone can recommended me a decent mechanical keyboard, please do!

Thanks.

No :_) I want a clicky clicky keyboard because they sound rewarding and well, I'd just like to try one out

Ha so it seems.

What is the difference between the Razer black widow and the Ultimate version? Worth the extra £40?

you need to ascertain which switch type you want. this is the most important step in a mech board purchase.

Ok so I did more research on switch types ( I did not know a single thing about them when I made this thread), and I think red or brown would suit me best. My job involves a lot of typing and college work too, and also play rts and fps games frequently.

Looked at the K90, has dedicated media keys which is a huge plus, though a lot of macro keys which I will never use.
Can't seem to find a brown switch with media keys.

Qpad 85 looks a winner too, though a tad expensive then what I want to pay. But if it will last me 4 years like my G15 then i'm all for it.
