Have been thinking about this for a while, but would getting a mechanical keyboard help reduce the errors in my typing?

Am not the quickest typist in the world, but forever seem to plagued with typing teh instead of the and also form instead of from, plus spaces going in late or early.....I am pretty sure it not down to my typing skills.

If so, what would be the best option to go for? Will be working in an open plan office where there are a few others around (I do rather a lot of typing during the day with emails, reports project plans etc.)

Have you learned correct touch typing? Using the right fingers for the right keys etc? I think that is the main thing to learn, before considering a new keyboard.

They will probably increase them to be honest. With a membrane keyboard you have to press the key fully down whilst with a mech, you have to press it about half way before it registers. I found going to a mech made my error rate higher until I got used to it but even now, I find myself making more typing errors on it.
