Hi Guys,

Just looking for an all round Mechanical keyboard. Have just found my Roccat ISKU has a broken backspace key and enter key from me dropping some heavy equipment on it (insert joke).

I have been trying out some keyboards and I really like the Cherry MX red switches but cannot seem to find the keyboard for me.

All I want is a keyboard just like my Isku. with red switches. its not the design that I want. but the layout. full numb-pad. (i'd like macro keys but I can live without them I guess)

Can all of this be found at less than £70? because I have scourged the internet and cannot find any like this.

Please help me people!

Just like your Isku you say? Good thing Roccat makes mechanical keyboards also then. Check out the Roccat Ryos (comes in 3 tiers). The base model is quite inexpensive now atleast in the US.

Thanks for the response. I have looked at the Ryos, However it only appears to come with the Cherry Black Switches? Which I have heard require more push than the regular reds? it also is £99 which to me is just too expensive.

Any other suggestions?

Weird, I would have thought the Ryos MK would have come in other keys also by now seeing how the higher end models have key options now too. Either way, like you said it is too expensive in the UK.

Is the CM Storm Trigger Z still available to you there? It was my first board before I went to the Roccat Ryos MK Pro and it was very similar to it (aside from the controller taking a good 15-20 seconds to store software changes). Cooler Master has this annoying habit of EOLing items in one region and promoting the same item in another, so I can never tell if this is still being sold in the UK or not. I know for sure this comes with MX Red switch options also.

Aye, the Pro comes in some other keys, not sure about the MK.

It is second hand, but hard to find new. I don't mind going second hand but would prefer to see if I can find a new one before resorting to the flea bay.

It looks like I will have to sacrifice the 5 Macro keys for a more reasonable price as nothing seems to fit that price range apart from the G710+ which in my opinion just doesn't look that great.
