So I've been using media browser for a long while, and recently the parents said they liked the Pearl theme. Installed that and gave the main folders cover art etc, everythings fine. Backed up movies all show proper thumbnails and descriptions, but TV shows dont show either. I'm just wondering if theres somewhere I need to tick on pearl to say that the tv folder is tv shows not films?

Have you put your TV shows in a seperate folder and named them using the following method?

TV Shows - Name of Show - Season 1 - s01e01
s01e02
s01e03

Season 2 - s02e01
s02e02
s02e03

I hope the above makes sense, i am doing this from memory, but i do remember trying the different recommended naming protocols and this is the one that works consistently well.

Yes it does make sense :p but everything was showing up 100% before pearl was added, so I know all shows are in the correct format.

Dont spose Pealr uses a different source for its meta data does it?

I dont think so, i think it uses the same software that media browser does, its only a theme afterall.

I presume that you have done the update that was made available in the last couple of days?, also have you done a library refresh?

any chance of some screen shots of the settings that you have so i can compare them to mine?

Yeah I updated to the latest version yesterday. All the shows still showed up. Then I installed pearl and they dont. Did a library refresh and only like 2 shows appear. I might do a whole cache reset again :/

Just dont understand why films all work fine but tv shows dont now lol.

Heres a pic: Not sure if its what you wanted!

Well that did it :/ A full cache clear appears to have solved the problems! Sorry to take up your time lol.

Ah, glad you got sorted buddy.

pearl really does look very nice when all the covers are up and running doesnt it.
