Hi,

Ive just got the apple wireless keyboard set up on my XP pro pc. all working fine apart from the volume and mute buttons. I have used some software called "SharpKeys" to map the extra F buttons to prtscrn etc but it doesnt recognise when i press the media buttons!

any ideas?

Thanks

the volume buttons works from default without any software, at leaset for me. The only thing i've done is use a registry hack program to Map the F13 key to printscreen.

the volume buttons arnt working at all. sharpkeys doesnt even recognise that they have been pressed. any ideas?

i thought it might have been the old logitech drivers, but ive uninstalled those now and they still dont work!

you using the US keyboard layout? you mind sending the reg key your using?

ill try uninstalling sharpkeys and give it a go, but i think all that it does it write to the registry.

I've have the current Appler Keyboard, using it on XP and every button works fine, the only thing I'm missing is a functional Print Screen key. If you just let XP install it it should work fine without need for any 3rd party software.

Lovely Keyboards eh? :D

hmmm, i cant seem to get the media buttons to work. ive uninstalled all the other drivers and software that may interfear, but still no joy.

Hi,

I've had the keyboard for the last 18months, and AFAIK it's not possible to get the Volume & Eject keys to work on the wireless (bluetooth) one unfortunately :(

just tried it with my wireless apple keyboard, indeed the volume buttons does not work, where it works fine on the cable version...
