media center pc

I'm after a media center pc, for playing DVDs on, listening to music, and burning stuff etc- for use with my LCD tv. Must have optical surround sound and a tv tuner card.

Anyone care to help me? As of now there is no budget but cheap as possible would be nice (no gaming required)(plus point- good at rendering video?)

What sort of video rendering are you talking about? The type Maya or Blender or POVray do, for instance?
