Media Center Remote Sensor?

Hiya Everyone

As you know, with a Media Center computer you usually get a remote control and a remote control sensor. What connections are on the sensor? I know there is a USB for the computer side but I think theres other connections for cable and things? If your not using cable or a TV tuner will the remote sensor just work if its only using the USB?

yeah, you just plug it into a windows mce box and it icks it up

The MS IR receiver dongle has two 3.5mm connectors, two IR blasters are included. So source and amplifier could be hidden, but the MS reciever is in view. The MS receiver transmits any signal to the blasters, so any hidden device works. You place the blaster in front of the device IR window.

This is done for custom installs usually.
