Hello All, I have decided that I would like to build a Media Center PC for my livingroom, it will be used with a 21" Round Tube TV.

What I have decided on buying so far:

Silverstone Lascala SST-LC17 HTPC Case (Black) £71.62
MSI Mega SKy 580 USB2 DVB-T TV Tuner £23.38 inc.
Linksys WMP54G Wireless-G PCI Adapter £17.04

What I Have At Home:

AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Mobile (Overclockable To 2.4Ghz With SLK-900)
1GB Cosair Ram
Abit NF7-s V2.0 Motherboard
Creative Audigy 2 Soundcard
DVD Burner Drive
Enermax 480W PSU
120GB Hard Drive
6.1 Creative Speakers

Now, I want this system to be set up so that:

I Can play some games (E.G Need For Speed, Rayman, Controle Pad Based Things) I can watch TV (Freeview), Listen To Radio, Access the internet, And Stream Files From My Main PC To The Living Room.

With the streaming I want to be able to listen to music, watch movie files and such on the Media Center that are stored on another Computer.

I Would also like the system to be somewhat quiet, No good having a media center that sounds like a vacume, so im guessing that my 2500+ Wont actualy clock very far, as I will have to get quieter cooling...

So To The Questions:

1) What will I need to set up a wireless system, that will enable me to share an internet conection, and stream music etc? I Will have:

* Linksys WMP54G Wireless-G PCI Adapter In The Media Center

* ASUS WL 138G 802.11G/b wi-fi PCI Card In The Main Computer

* Netgear DG632 Wired Router Conected To The Main Computer (This Is What I Use Now)

2) Will this spec all be compatable?

3) Is it a good Media Center Spec?

4) Will I be able to get a good clock out of the Mobile 2500+ If i take away my normal Vacume like sounding cooling system?

5) If not, Will the CPU be to slow?

6) Would I be better just starting from scratch with a new spec? If so can you spec me something For in the range of £300- 350?

7) Will the TV Card I have picked work well with Media Center?

Thanks, Jcb33 :D

Also, Is there a way to pump sound from the system to the TV, or do I have to use the external speakers?
