XP/MCE/VISTA/TV CARD

I am looking to build a medica centre pc. I have built a spare pc with the following spec

Abit Ul8 Socket 939 Mobo - Standard ATX
Standard ATX 350 Watt PSU
AMD Dual Core 64 Bit X2 3800+
1gb Ram (2x512mb dual chanel)
Leadteck Geforce 6800 AGP 256mb
Soundblaster Audigy Soundcard
Benq Dvd Rw
2 x 160 Sata Drives

I was looking for tv card tha would work with the followig operating systems

Windows XP All Versions
Windows Media Centre Media Edition
Windows Vista All Versions

Would also be looking at alternative versions of media centre software such as Sage Tv and Media Portal and GBR/GVR.

Dual Tuner would be great if one works with the operaing systems. So i could watch and record a tv channel at the same time. i would be connecting up to the tv which has scart, rca leads and svideo so the card wold have to have that on it as well. Also what case would i be best going for and remote for changing channels ect how would i go about that?

Does any one know of any cards that could help me or any advice.

Thanks

p.s.

sorry for long winded question

Any PC case can be a HTPC, even a Blade X case with lots of LED's and flashing lights. You just need a remote control, either internal or external. These are MATX cases

Silverstone TJ-08
Silverstone Sugo
Aspire Qpack comes with PSU
Antec NSK2400 comes with PSU
Antec Fusion comes with PSU

i agree with squiffy a Silverstone TJ08 or Silverstone Sugo would do the job nicely

as for software the only other one i can think of right now is powercinema 4 or newer, neat little program and is a basic copy of media center.

for remotes i would suggest the offical MCE remote and reciever, im not sure if it does work across those different OS's though. quite often remotes are packaged with TV cards and as long as you get a decent one it should have the ability to work on the different OS's.

its not the TV card that needs to have the connectors its the graphics card. as long as you have an S-video port on that 6800 and can find a 3.5mm stereo jack to seperate left right male audio connectors then you should be able to plug the left right audio and other end of the s-video into a scart socket adapter and have that going into your tv. ;)

hope i helped. if you need any more help feel free to email me at my hotmail account in my trust or post again here and ill try and get back to you. :)
