I currently have a very old pc media centre. Its an old shuttle pc with a biostar p4m something motherboard which only supports DDR 1gb ram max. Its got windows xp on it and only 50mb hard drive. CPU I think is a dual core intel. Not sure the specifics tbh.
I was going to update my parts increase my ram etc but I can't find a motherboard to fit my case. So going for a cheap build to replace.
Looking at buying:
* Akasa Crypto Vesa Mini-ITX Case with 80W PSU - Black,
* Nano AMD E350 Mini ITX DDR3 Bundle - Dual Core
* Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500gb sata 6gb/s
Got a spare windows 7 home lying around that I can install. Think I'm looking at about £188 for this build.
Am I missing something? This will be used mainly for a media centre so don't need graphics and so on. Just require it to be quiet and relatively quick.
Please suggestions welcome.
