Alright fellers
Brief:
- create a small factor media centre pc which can be used to play xvid/divx movies on a TV
- must be able to recieve tv channels
- must have wireless connectivity to main PC to recieve/access files
(main PC has Linksys Broadband Router)
- A 28" - 32" TV/LCD which has inputs which can be used to connect to media centre pc
- A graphics card which is capable of sending data to TV/LCD
- 5.1 surround sound speakers connected to TV/LCD or PC
Overview
Looking to create some entertainment in my bedroom where i can watch my xvid/divx movies on a tv/lcd.
Budget is around £500 - £600
Ideally want a quiet running system which is not a uber leet pc. Doesnt need to be fast as all it will be used for is audio and video.
Will sit under the TV and will need wireless connectivity to access and recieve files from main pc.
A descent quality LCD TV is required and a descent set of 5.1 speakers.
It will not be used as a pc - only to watch movies and tv
