So righty, building a few media pc's, file storage/films etc, having to decide on an enclosure we have come to two possible choices so far..
Make the case custom, from scratch, do it the hard way and learn! *attaching panels together, structures and such*
or, mod existing old steel cases with custom panels (professionally cut metal), with a pre built base.
So far we plan on having some lcd's withing a few custom buttons/mods for cd/dvd drives (in the sticky!
) so info on circuit boards/how to's and stuff would be nice.
Also, the cases are wanting to be black, a deep deep shiney/mirror black, best ways to achieve this effect?
I'll know some more details tomorrow when we've had a look at the pc's available to us and had a chat but for now this is the start of our project, however it turns out
