i didnt really know what forum to put this in, i need a little advice

after the last thread in which i asked what was the ideal HD TV for me, we decided on the one GORDY R has, which i have promptly forgot the model and make, it was 26 inch and did picture in picture

anyway me current set up consists of

old 24 inch TV
xbox 360

and a PC across the room

my new set up will be

GordyR TV
xbox 360 and a mini shuttle PC to play music etc through me 5.1 sound system

the shuttle is coming 2mora, but until i get the HD TV what is the best way of displaying a PC image on a TV, i have a 6800 GT 128mb Asus v9999 GFX card the TV has 1 scart socket, the yellow white and red sockets and a funny little black connector which i think is the s video thingy

to clarify

1. whats gordyR's TV
2. how can i connect a normal tv 2 my shuttle
3. how can i connect the new tv to my shuttle

cheers

1) It was an LG somethingerother (go find the thread :p).

3) :p You'll be able to hook up the 360 via component, for best results, and the shuttle via DVI/HDMI or VGA (whichever input offers 1:1 pixel mapping).

2) For now, your best bet is to use S-Video (which will limit you to 1024x768, and look pants for anything bar films).

Trust me, you can :)

It won't be pin sharp, as it's way more signal than the TV can display, but SVHS will handle up to 1024x768. I had mine set up lake this many moons ago, before any of the 'theatre mode' gubbins you get these days.
