Any way to minimise this to tray? (I haven't seen it in the settings).

If you actually mean system tray, then no - don't think so.
It's designed to be used as a TV-type interface. You're not meant to be at the PC when using it. If you are, then WMP is more appropriate. Unless you want to watch TV - in which case you wouldn't want it in the tray.

Probably not what you want, but I'll offer it anyway. Media Portal has a minimise to tray feature.
Personally I don't like MP - it crashes for fun on my HTPC, and refuses to run at full res on my hardware, but there you go. It's fairly popular for a specialised application, and given the support and acclaim it receives it must work fine on most setups.
