Hi All,

just wondering if 2gb of ddr2 800 makes any differnce in the playing of videos(Hd)

I am going to be using my old 775 board with e7500 for the time being.

What kind of graphic card would be good to use for 1080 video playback.

There will be no gaming on this computer

2gb will be fine and GPU below will be ok, you dont need a hugely power gpu for playback.

I was originally going to get a newer ddr3 board but if the playback is unchallenged.

What about audio when it comes to hdmi? do different graphics card do different things with the sound that is transfered to the Tv.

DDR 2 will be more than ample for playback so you wont need to worry

I think majority if cards these days offer various surround sound and all are fine for connecting direct to the TV (Audio over HDMI).

My old media centre was a Celeron NUC.
