Should I use Rufus? Will that work?

i used the media creation tool last night and again this morning on 2 different laptops, without any issue.

My daughters computer got stuck in the win 11 update so I used the media creation tool on a usb stick to create a fresh install. Apparently it isnt working and there was a youtube video which said that MS have admitted a **** up and will release a new version "soon"

Just use rufus, it does the same job.

Apparently a known issue on Windows 10.

Windows 10 can create a Windows 10 in the tool.

But the Windows 11 tool simply flashes a Windows icon and disappears.

Happened to me last week so I just used Rufus.

Well actually does a better job. You can chose to do several things to automate the installation like configure login and remove the requirement for secure boot/tpm etc
