Howdy,
I have a PC running an opteron chip from years back that I'd like to use as a media PC to plug into the telly and watch TV films over homeplug.
I want this machine to be quite low on noise, hidden behind a cabinet with a wireless keyboard and mouse.
It has an old ATI 9800 in it, up to the display of decent framerates I believe.
What are my options?
I'm not adverse to buying new kit, even something like a Raspberry PI, but I'd rather have the full blown PC.
Are there fanless PSU's available that would support that kind of kit or better off starting new?
