media play back problem

Im in the process od sorting through family holiday snaps and birthday pics/vids.

Im trying to view a video from a hd camcorder that is showing as a MP4 video but if i try and view with WMP or quicktime it states it can not play the footage but if i use VLC it shows its about 1hr 40 mins long but no sound or audio.

any programs i can try to sort it out?

You could give Mediainfo or Gspot a go to find the correct Codec?

AS it's a HD camcorder, think you could try a HD encoding tool like iFunia.
