Media player for MKV & DTS

My brother wants a media player to play mkv files that can output all audio over phono connections.

He has an old 32" LCD with DVI input that has left and right phono connections for audio.

I was told the WD TV won't do it, but the live will?

Will any of these ones do what he wants it for? If it is possible at all.

Yup, the Live will decode and downmix DTS.
