media player maximised

Just a small niggle, whenever I open up Windows Media Player (latest version), it never runs maximised. It fills most of the screen, but not all of it. And each time I hit the maximise button. Isn't there a way to make it always start maximised?

Right click the icon, Properties, Shortcut tab and change run from Normal Window to Maximized.

Thanks for the reply. Thats half sorted the problem, but if I open media player by playing a media file of any sort, it still doesn't open maximised. But it does now when I click the shortcut.

Maximise the window and close it while holding shift.

Alternatively, use something better than WMP.

Doesn't seem to have done anything. And I like WMP because its there and works, though I have MPC for the rare cases WMP can't play something.
