Hi All,
Seemed to have developed an issue........
My issue is that before when i clicked on a video on a website, Media player would open buffer away for a few seconds and then play the video. Now it asks to download it and saves it to my hd before i can play it. Does this in IE7 and Firefox.
Seen another post on another forum with the same issue and the answer was to click tools>option>file type in media player and insure all file types were selected. But in Vista and WMP11 there is not that option??? I have insured that WMP11 is the default player for everything it can be in the default programs part.
Also seen another post that said ensure that the proxy server tabs are set to auto detect. this doens't seem to work either.
Something must have changed as my system use to do it and my laptop still does (but thats on XP).........sites like 'You Tube' work ok as they play in the internet window itself.
Anyway if somebody has the answer please let me know as it's driving me mad.
Mark
