Which pc Media player?

whats the best 'play all' PC media player?

i assume for the pc? then Videolan client is all you need; has most of the codec built-in so no need to download anything else.

Nope, I say WinAmp and Media Player Classic with all the codecs installed. So thats:
Real and Quicktime Alternative
Windows XP Codec Pack

VLC or Media Player Classic seems to be the favourites around these parts. Also get a hold of the Real/QuickTime Alternatives if you want to play these files through those clients. I personally don't go for codec packs, I just download DivX, Xvid and an AC3 filter.

get the klite codec pack, which has MP Classic and all the codecs you ever wanted.
