media pool

Hi

We have a HP Ultrium 3 tape drive and use ntbackup.

Backups have failed a couple of timed and we have been told that the tapes have to be added to a media pool for them to work.

How do I do this?

Well you do need to specify which media to be used for a particualr backup job, also try downloading the HP Library and Tape tools to check the drive health.
