Whats the general view on this? Anyone use it (client or server). It seems to be the dogs, but with daily builds I just wanted a few more opinions.

Ive been using it for a year or so, far better than media center.
I mainly use it for organising my xvid films, music, and recording live tv via my tv card.
I can even use my PDA to access my pc from anywhere in the world and setup tv programs to record

All this will become redundant soon though when i get my tvdrive installed by NTL but its served me well for the past year and i shall still use media portal for viewing films, playing music.

Best of all its free, so give it a go, there are a whole load of plugins to play with.

Its good, but i think its quite slow and is still quite buggy.

Plain refuses to work at 1900x1200 no matter which machine I try it on (crashes when trying to go full screen), but it does seem extremely good other than that.
