Media ppl - How do you get BBC/ITV/etc news footage? Reports, etc

A friend is creating a project on certain local issues around pollution. There have been a number of BBC/ITV news articles and he is looking to create a collage of recent articles for a little side project.

Does anyone know how this is done?

Most organisations will be used to these requests. Eg https://www.bbc.co.uk/usingthebbc/terms/can-i-use-bbc-content/

If he wants to do it well, they can probably supply the content. If he wants to just rip it himself he probably can without too many issues.
