Media server setup player options?

Hi guys,
Recently I bought a SONY LCD (KDL-42W706) but it doesn't support Plex which is what I was running before on my Mac and I love its interface/look.

I currently have:

HP Microserver with WHS2011 (running Plex MS)
Denon AVR-X2000 Amp
Sony TV as above

I will be connecting the server to the amp as it has a HD5450 graphics card which has HDMI and can do all the 1080p/HD audio etc.

What I need now is a interface which I can use with the TV similar to Plex, are there any which can be run from the TV that stream from the server? Something which looks half decent instead of going through the Sony's DLNA folders and folders before getting to the movie/show I want to play!

I did see Zappiti which looks good but media control seems to be done through an IOS and Android device, can you do this through the TV? or is there anything similar?

Any help would be great.

Just get a chromecast...No need to connect the server to the TV...Just plug the chromecast directly into one of the Denon's HDMI inputs.

Then control plex though a phone or Ipad
 
media browser, install the server program on your server then they have programs to integrate into media centre and standalone. Also IOS and android apps and even an app for roku. Works a treat for me

Does Media player have an app for tv then?
I was just going to get the Roku 3 as it has plex and can do 1080p/dts etc although media player is s free option!
 
Roku doesnt pass through DTS-MA/DolbyHD Audio...

Might go with a RasberryPi with Rasplex

Edit: Rasberry Pi B+ ordered
