Medieval II Total War

Is this any good? I heard it was really buggy so I bottled it & bought Rome Total War instead for the time being.
So anyway, should I have bought it?

Bought it but havent really played it yet. The graphics are nice but the battle menu and map seem out of place with the graphics ie low res or something. But basically they look like something a mod team would/could have done tbh. Anyway cant judge it yet as i havent played it for more than 5 mins.

i really like it,

but im waiting for the update to start playing again,
there is a updated 2 coming for it, a lot of new things.

go check there forums, for news on it.

Its a great game, the bugs can be annoying but are far from game breaking.

I still prefer Rome though, simply because I like the units more.

What do you recommend i start with? ive heard the bugs can be annoying.

thinking about going with....

patching to 1.2 leaked (so its not official patch yet)
and the Lands to Conquer mod?

anything else?

It is the most stunning game ever!
I am a HUGE total War fan, and have played them all.
Our clan play it as our main game - so I am probably biased

Seriously seriously good.
Makes any other strategy game seem boring, un strategic and small in scale - a big Sup Comm game might have 1000 units running about. A SMALL Total War battle could have 2000

Great Graphics, a SUPERB tactical campaign map, where no battle will ever be identical, and a brilliant battle engine makes it one of my favourite games ever
