Hi I have updated my game to latest patch and now it hangs after I press end turn, the french come and talk to me then It just sits there any ideas?

Keep clicking RMB< seems to fix lockups with some kind of diplomat i come across sometimes If i don't do anything the game tunring isn't progressing, although the engine isn't frozen its just stopped, anyhow rmb to fix it, at least that does it on mine... ( rmb in normall circumstances speeds up stuff moving...)

I can call up some of the screens faction, finance etc ad I can see mouse pointer but when I close them mouse disappears.

seems to be stuck on the holy roman empire making its move, has try restarting but hangs the same after I end my first turn

any other ideas?

That's really bizarre! 1.2 is supposedly very stable. Have you tried reinstalling the game out of interest? You can sometimes get CTD's with modifications and such like, but rarely experience those sort of hangs with the stock patches although I'm sure it does happen.

this is fresh install, also it wont start from launcher I have to use main exe I get this error if i click play from launcher

Going to D/L update again :(

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.
