Medieval Total war 2? Whats patches and Mods are out?

What is the Lattest patch for Medieval 2?

And what mods are out that are worth knowing about?

offical 1.1 patch

unofficial is at 1.2 patch (actually this is a leaked official patch not sure how complete it is though)

lots of mods for it already. e.g. Lands to Conquer.

I feel its a lot more buggy than Rome:TW so am leaving it alone untill more patches appear.

Playing Stalker instead (yeah for some reason i dont find it that buggy

)

Official 1.2 has been out for a couple of weeks, it's a bit more polished now but I've left it until Kingdoms is out in the autumn.

1.2 is fantastic - fixes a lot.
The mod Stainless Steel 3.2 is for the official 1.2 and makes a good few changes and is well worth the download.

I am a HUGE total war fan and I think 1.2 is superb.
There are no really major bugs in 1.2, unlike Rome Total War had when it was at 1.2 stage.

STALKER has many many more bugs trust me

Get the new Lands to Conquer beta which is simply awesome work. Patch your install to 1.2 first. The enjoy. It adds 4 new factions and lots of other things. Cant remember having such a good game.

fair enough im just relating my experiences....im not trying to start an argument saying medieval2 is crap blah blah

In my very first skirmish battle on Medieval 2. Seemed buggy when i was assaulting a fortress. Couldnt get my forces to move as i was clicking them too. Horses wouldnt charge. And for some reason some of my forces kept losing formation. Not saying Medieval2 is a bad game at all. Just i didnt expect it to handle the way it did on my first battle. I bought the collectors edition so i must like the series a little eh.

I'm sure i'll come across bugs in Stalker (none so far) as well. But i am well impressed with the atmosphere and graphics in stalker. The rain and lightning and overall lighting effect is possibly the best ive seen in a game. (makes oblivion graphics seem cartoony in comparison)

Im guessing thats Lands to Conquer 2.3?

Sorry. What am I on.. I am playing the Long Road, not LTC. This is being updated constantly and is very good indeed.

The latest is beta 1.10.10 and is fully compatible with 1.2. There is also an addon patch which adds dynamic weather and better "realistic" blood effects and such like.
