Medieval Total War

In preparation for Empire total war, I thought I would brush up my skills and get back into this whole series.
Im about 40 hrs into a campaign game and the turn browser where it goes through all the factions actions before starting a new turn is taking ages to complete. Is there a way to speed this up, I can go away, make a sandwich and come back and it is still going??? :mad:

just wondering if there was an option to speed this up?

Check in the options menu? Can set them all to fast somewhere...

You can turn off computer moves so it doesn't show them. You can also change what pop ups you get as well.

theres an option for this at the beginning when you pick your faction, campaign/battle difficulties etc

'Show CPU moves' I think it is, down at bottom, untick that

When you start a campaign you have few options for that campaign ie Battle difficulty campaign difficulty etc etc one of them is Follow Ai moves or something along those lines it as a tick next to it as default untick this, it speeds up the end of turn ten fold on a slower system. As it will follow all Ai moves, you really don't need to see this, it also takes away from any element of surprise the AI can use by slipping a stack in behind your front lines.

Im sure you can press ESC and turn it off in one of the options, if not there will be a mod where you can just look for an options mod on google, so you can change difficulty during a campaign, its on the same option page so id thought editable using an options mod..You may even be able to do it in the preference file.
