I have never before heard about that brand, no idea what to expect, anyone has opiion about product or brand???

I’ve only read a few reviews of Medion laptops, generally they seem to lack in build quality, display quality and reliability. Personally I’d look at something else, particularly with an £1,800 budget.

Yeah, and I read it's Lenovo off-spring. Chinese spyhardware, quality and with few Lenovo's I've been working on and had rather terrible impression, doesn't bode well...

Any other contender for understated on looks but powerful on gaming laptop for let's say 2300 pounds?

I was going to suggest looking at Lenovo Legion 5 Pro / 7 but sounds like you’re not too keen on the brand.

Maybe a Razer Blade or Asus Zephyrus ? Although I have reservations about the Zephyrus exhausting heat directly onto the bottom of the screen.

Just by chance have encountered this:

and bought it.
It is maybe not as powerful as full fledged desktop or laptop, but ticks loads of 'auxiliary' boxes we not even considered before seeing it and it'll be improvement for my daughter even without dock.
