Hello there, I hope it's OK to ask this on here.

I am trying to find a decent second hand Medion Erazer Gaming notebook laptop x15803 or X15809 for sale in the uk and wanted to know if anyone here knows where I might be able to get get ahold of one online also I've looked all over ebay but haven't found anything on there, I'd really appreciate and be forever indebted to whomever of can help me out with this.

Thank you

Fint

Hello thank you for replying to my thread,

I'm not sure but I don't think they're as old as that, and I've never had any real issues with them during my experience using them they're always seemed to have be alright overall generally speaking, well you never know or can be entirely sure is why I made this thread in hopes of the chance something comes up.

And yeah if so you know of any and might be able to let me know of which ones they might be if that's OK for you to do so.

And yeah there is I like the brand and those particular models just caught my eye and really liked the look and specs and weren't too expensive like around the £700 price mark is the max I'm looking to dole out here.

Oh right OK and yeah I get what you're saying in that and I do understand, appreciate and take it on board what you're getting at in being very wary in recommending second hand laptops.

Oh right cool cool I'll take a look at them and see what I can find on them, thanks for letting me know about this.

Oh right OK that's good to know and understand, oh yeah cool so from after doing all that comparing was that the better one to have gone far at the time back then? Oh right crap that's saddening to find out, ah kk right well I might have to take a look at those ones and see if I can find one that catches my interest.

Aye yeah that's right, and at around 1920 by 1080 at 1080p to full 4k (more preferable) and i5-12450H Processor or higher and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 or higher and cool cool that's great to know and yeah it's mostly older games I play on but newer games such as hogwarts legacy and starfield for example.
Cool cool that's fantastic to find out and brilliant but how much more powerful would you say RTX4050 is or how about even the 3050 would be?

Cool cool will take a look at them and that site and see what else might be on there

Oh yeah how come what made you decide to do this so what do you instead of laptops do you just use gaming pcs now or is it all on consoles you use? And don't you find playing on cloud gaming to be just like how it is with streaming shows and films instead of just watching them on TV and on Discs, that it gets really jerky with it having to buffer from time to time seeing how it's all done through Internet connection in order to play them?

Yeah that is very true unlike how it was back in the early to mid 90's where even the mid range performance pcs would have cost you well into the £1,000s for something remotely decent. And yeah that's something of which asides from gaming on the Xbox series s/x I don't really do to much extent and yeah that's why I'd prefer to do 4k. Aha oh yeah haha never knew about that will have to keep that in mind if I ever do really want to game on my phone

Oh aye yeah will have to keep that in mind and I think we've switched over to EE recently so will have to look into that at some point

Also I found a decent one on that site you liked me I just want to know with and when it comes to the storage do you think I'll be able to upgrade both of the storage slots with a 1TB ssd m.2

Here is the one I'm looking at getting:

Thank you very much again for helping me out and lending your very much appreciated insights on this

Yeah I was really tempted to get this one it does seem to be a really great and better one to get, but.....

At £499 that Medion is a pretty good deal for a new laptop though all things considered, assuming you can upgrade the memory to 16gb cheaply. 2x8gb crucial memory assuming not soldered to replace the 2x4gb is about £30.

Yeah it is a really good bargain, and aha haha yeah that was what I was hoping you'd have some idea on but I'll also ask around maybe on here and see if anyone else might be able to tell me on upgrading the ssd storage slots to both holding 1TB each more so specifically, yeah that's not too expensive and yeah I'll have to look around and see what I can find out about this.

Yeah, I was initially thinking of doing that but this doesn't have a sd card reader input on it only a micro sd card reader and that won't really help me I'm a photography enthusiast and the micro one won't really work for what I need and why I'm leaning more towards the RTX 3050 one.
