Hi Guys, I am planning on building a Mid spec Gaming PC using an i5 2500k CPU. I plan to lightly OC it, to something like 4.4 GHz? For example I use my old E8400 to OC to 3.6 GHz, nothing hardcore. I plan to use a 24in screen, and not sure on the resolution as I haven't played PC games in 2 years.
I have a few questions, I plan to use the:
PSU - 550W Antec Truepower or should I go for Antec High Gamer Current or another brand?
CPU Cooler - Arctic 7 Pro
Mobo - Asus P8P67 Pro or MSI GD65
RAM - Probably XMS3 or Vengeance? They are similar priced?
GPU - GTX560 or HD6950
SSD - I am considering getting a SSD, probably 60 to 80 GB, but the old ones out at the moment use the 35nm and SATA 2? Would 60 GB be enough for a system disk or should I aim for 80/90 GB?
I have a spreadsheet of components I am considering, if anyone has any comments or advice it would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!
