I'm intending to pop into OcUK to RMA my graphics card and I always have an urge to buy stuff while I'm there, so I've been browsing the component list.

The only thing I want that I don't already have is a set of 5.1 headphones. I have a decent set of 6.1 speakers (yes, 6.1, the setup everyone+dog skipped over going from 5.1 to 7.1) but I do quite a bit of gaming in the middle of the night (shift work). I have an OK headset already, but for gaming it just doesn't compare with my Logitech speakers and amp. I don't expect a 5.1 headphone set to be anything like as good as the speakers, but I think it could be a better night-time substitute than my middling stereo headphones.

I have an Audigy2, not an X-Fi, so I don't have the pseudo-surround headphone option that I've read is surprisingly good with the X-Fi.

I see two interesting 5.1 headphones on OcUK at the moment, both Speedlink Medusa sets.

There's a SpeedLink Medusa SL-8793 Pro Gamer set on This Week Only for £46.94 and a B-Grade SpeedLink Medusa SL-8790 set at £11.75.

I can't find a review of the SL-8793 set...does anyone have an opinion as to whether it's worth the extra? I'm inclined to go with the B-Grade SL-8790, at that price.
