Hi all.

An ebay member filed a complaint against me through paypal today due to not receiving item. I did send item through 1st class recorded signed for on the 7th of feb, so obv lost in post.

Post office say wait 15days, which is today so plan to go there tomoz with receipt etc and find out where it is.

What the problem is i went into paypal and clicked to dispute and follow the steps through. I got a bit confused and had to click back a few times. I then released i could not get back into the dispute from where i ahd left off. Paypal sent both me and the buyer an email though from my resposnse but was not complete with all info. im desperate to try and get back to where i left off and finsih the reemaining steps but the option has dissapeared, as screenshot below

please help

its looks like what ever you have done has been submitted to paypal. your best bet is to give them a call tomorow and explain it to them.

Never click the back button on scecure websites. Doing so could inadvertantly submit forms, and/or submit multiple copies (duplicates) and/or lose everything you were currently doing.

Just a warning for the future , in the event of a dispute Paypal do not accept Recorded or Special delivery as acceptable trackable delivery methods

thats interesting. so why do they allow you to enter the tracking information?
i take it the only accepted methods are couriers?

Who do you recommend to use then Rotty? Ive always used RM sd?

I have always used it and would think that is is sufficient to deter most ameteur scammers , a determined scammer will manage to rob you one way or another

This is why I won't use paypal on anything greater than about £20. Despite their huge charges its a lottery as to whether you will get your money.

Well, with paypal, if there are no problems, it's ok, if there are problems, prepare for a lot of hassle.
