So I'm wondering if a few of you are up for a real decent meet.

I have a Superb bike route that goes from Hinckley up to Matlock & then on to the Peak District. A5 - A444 - A511 - A50 - A515 - Ashbourne way or Matlock, Options are all good routes using A roads.
Most of you I'm sure will have already been to Matlock so know it's Meca for Bikers.
I'm thinking meet at the Longshoot on the A5 like last time then take a nice ride up to Matlock, Stop at the shop front there & grab some Chips & a drink & have a break & a Natter then off up into the Peak District.
Someone with Local knowledge can pipe in here if they want.
Date wise I'm thinking around the start of July some time.

Thoughts ?
 
Can do, I am only in Nottingham and tend to avoid Derbyshire like the plague, due to the police, speed restrictions and most deadly and dangerous of all people going to garden centres just out for a drive.

So would like throw out a nice route to the east coast instead. Starting from Nottingham if you fancy something different.

(happy with derby****e though, if more folk are up for that)
 
Im up for something.. not sure what!! Cant say im overly keen on the east coast.. Been to most coastal towns on the east and its scamera van heaven on the way then coffin dodgers and caravans when you arrive !
 
@SPG I'm definitely up for a new route mate as I've done the above loads, It's an awesome run but like you say Matlock/Derbyshire is Camera County.
So I'm open for any suggestions as long as we get together as I missed the last meet & have the perfect bike for me nowadays so what to get out & about as much as poss.
 
I'd be up for this but I can only do Sunday's as I decided I'd had enough of the ******** at my old job and when redundancies came up and I saw what I could get, I volunteered and left with a damn nice payout. Now, after a nice break from work, I start a new job on 1st June in a business that involves one of my passions in life but it involves working Saturdays.

I'll sort the best ride/route I know on Google maps for ya once I'm back on my Laptop & not on my Tab3. :)

Anybody else got any suggestions for routes/destinations ?

When you going Wazza & for how long & where ya heading to & leaving from ?
 
I can't see what route you have planned.
I only live in Grantham, I could tag on and take a trip up to skeg if that's where you are going.
