Hello all,

Now, when it comes to women, I'm not completely useless and won't stand there like a lemon and will at least try to talk to them etc.

Anyway, someone I went to primary school with found me on Facebook and we got talking, turns out she works 10 minutes away from where I do and we are meeting today for a lunchtime drink...and quite frankly I'm bricking it :eek: :o

Haven't seen her in 9 - 10 years, have been texting and emailing her and she seems a right laugh :)

Oh, and another girl found me on there who I haven't seen in 13 years who says she misses me A LOT and really wants to meet up soon :p

Anyway...anyone else been in a similar situation...meeting someone you haven't seen for a long long time and been nervous? how did you deal with it? or did you just grow a pair and go and have fun? :p

Let's here your stories! funny if possible, works going to be slow up until 1 :p
 
Grow a pair, ive met a few people who i havent spoken to in years and had a laugh. Meeting a mental girl who was in my year next week, not spoken to her in bloody ages before chatting on FB!

yeah definitely, of course there are plenty that you really dont want to see again, btu they can be ignored hehe
 
I'd say grow a pair but sadly that would be a little hypocritical.

While not relevant to you're situation but in the same vain...

A few months ago while drunken Facebook surfing I'd noticed a new friend request, a friend I use to fancy a fair amount while at school (and the best friend of a girl I use to go out with) You can guess the rest of what happened but it turned out I'd used the phrase "Dinner and Naughtyness" I'd like to point out we had not spoken for around 8 years at this point and that was my first message.

Surprisingly she actually replied a few days later and said we should met up for a drink! ...I've not messaged her back again.

infact, i dont have one!! infact my FB profile is currently deactivated! nightmare :D

but yeah, there is an app that you allow people to see on your profile, apparently there are quite a few women with some rather dodgy photos that would normally get you banned!!
