hi,
bit worried here,
Got a meeting proposal at work involving Hr and manger a few of us have them, i had to decline it a i have holiday that day, so when to see manager to tell them this and ask what it was about she said she couldnt tell me and would try to arange it for today.
I was in the understanding that i should be informed about or aggendered what the meeting is about so i can prepair for going in there. Instead of going in blind?
 
It would be polite to be informed but there's no real rule that says you have to be informed.

Do you know roughly what it is about?
 
It's quite clear you are going to be fired. Make sure you make the most of the meeting by grabbing the entire plate of biscuits and polishing them all off.
 
Well the title was accomodation issues, but after the things that have been going on here i dont know, and why are we all in individually? tehy still not sorted my job spec out after like 4 weeks of saying they will.
Anyway just emailed them asking if they have reaganged it for today for me and could i have an agenda or some information to prepare for this.
Also seen my union rep and she is propaired to come to the meeting with me if they arnt cooprative
 
do not be afraid to ask them to re-schedule

if they raise a sensitive issue, to say that you need to adequately prepare a response and can we resume the meeting in 24h, 2 days.... time.
 
It does sound bad news otherwise HR would not be invited. As said above though, there is no point in worrying. As above ask again for an agenda. if they fail to provide one (and they dont need to) then ask a final time and point out that as it appears to be a sensitive issue that they will not give to forewarning about, you will need to invite your union rep for guidance during the meeting.

Your more then likely gonna get sacked phone in sick with stress and take 2 weeks off ,whilst finding another a job :)
