Well this may go on abit

I went to do an oil change on the accord and also knew that there was a slight leak from this little rubber blanking cap . So the oil is out and the new oil filter is on - Good job I thought - Removed the vtec soliniod (gasket intact)
Went to remove the blanking cap and this is where the fun begins . It wont come out from the outside of the block and I tried to remove the top of the block to get it out from the inside and 2 of the bolts will not undo , They are just turning so I cant take it out that way at the moment .

Any ideas please guys

Do whatever i do under such circumstances, get yourself down to a local garage and ask for their advice :D

I normally would but its a good 45 minutes walk and I cant do this because I have the 2 kids at home while the wife is at work

This type of thing might be better posted on an owners club forum where people familar with the particular layout of your engine may be able to help.

Done that but as im sure your well aware there are not many people on at a time and I kind of want this to be done pronto

I managed to get the head of now anyway its just the inlet camshaft is in the way on the inside to push the blanker out
 
Right im stuck at the stage now where I need to undo the bolts for the camshaft cover and I dont have enough stength to undo them as my back is about to give way , Anyone with a strong arm fancy coming to do the last 10 for me :p

Thanks but ive done it now :D Could always lend me your car for a few days while I wait for a few bits from honda for the weekend , Or if you have a tourqe wrench I need to borrow one of those rather than paying over £20 for 5 minutes use

I cant get the rest on till I get the new bits from honda

I have one - and you are welcome to borrow it. You can't have my car though ;-)

My e-mail is down - so only checking posts every now and then, but if you are near hove, I can drop it off. Are you anywhere near Hove?
 
Cool, are you abouts tomorrow? I can't really leave now else I can't park when I get back (grrr).

I have to goto Southwick Wheel And Tyre 2moz, and could pop in on the way back? As my email is borked, I am not too sure on the best way to get your address, unless you PM me? Is a Tourque wrench all you need?
