Mega Urgent help needed! Hard drive raid array lost

Erm, I've just changed the RAID setting in my bios to "Normal" (from normal, long story...) and now one of my hard drives has disappeared from windows and disk management wants to initialise the disk... (To clarify, it was only a single disk on the raid controller, but I was trying to add a new one in and have them both as seperate disks on that particular motherboard controller).

What the hell can I do to get it and the data back>!

Never done no RAID stuff but do a system restore through windows?

Thanks, but managed to sort it!

Mini Tool Partition Wizard fixed it in about 30 seconds... which was amazing all things considered. I'm concerned I may be missing stuff but looks ok so far.

Learnt the hard way also ways to back up any raid system they are not as 'safe' as you think even raid 6 etc.

You just copy the files over to a single drive (many of them) Ensures there wont be any issues. Copy & Paste is really easy
