megahalems fan clip problem with tall DIMMS on UD7

hey all,

my UD7 is currently being repaired by Gigabyte via OCUK, but awaiting it's return I was wondering if anyone might have an idea about this.

i noticed that the new i7 980X OC bundle is now using a sharkoon silent eagle 1000 fan instead of the previous AK-FN057 and notices that the patriot dimms appear to be as tall as the dominator 1866's that i have...

so i wondered how OCUK or anyone for that fact solved the issue with the fan clips provided with the megahalems obstructing the DIMM slots when a push config is installed?

currently i have push-pull, with push being help on the pull-ties not being ideal.

This is how I did it on a UD5 board. This held them on nice and tight:

dropped a note to prolimatech support who promptly got back to me to say that they've got a new clip design specifically to address this problem..

they're sending me 4 new clips to test..

i'll report back when i get them
