Megahalems, mounting?

Hi guys, just purchased a Megahalems as I got bored of my Genesis and it was taking up more room than I wanted.

Just wondering every review seems to state them to be mounted to fire the hot air out of the back of the case, however can they be mounted so that the fans pump out vertically through the top?

And if it can, would it effect performance? I'd have thought logically it would have been better pump the heat out vertically as its rising anyway, but not sure.
Cheers.

depends where the exhaust on your case is

depends how your ram and mobo heatsinks are - might not be able to run horizontally

Well my new mobo hasn't arrived yet. :( It's a gigabyte ud4 and I don't think any of them are large, and I specifically bought LP ram to. :)

But I have an NZXT phantom so I have 2 200mm fans at the top and a 120mm fan at the rear so I just thought I could use the top fans and they would be more efficient and quieter.
